Profile Wall

Open an issue with your note in its title, after wall:. The link fills it in for you.

• —Up to 40 characters.
• —Letters, numbers and basic punctuation. It's all set in capitals.
• —<3 becomes ♥.
• —No links. It's public and on my profile, so keep it kind.
• —One note every 10 minutes.

1 note from 1 person. The newest six get a row; everyone before them is listed under it on the profile.

• 01You open an issue titled wall: your note.
• 02A GitHub Action checks it and paints it onto the board, in dots.
• 03It commits the new board to the README, replies, and closes the issue. About a minute, start to end.

It's three scripts and one workflow, no packages. Copy them into your own profile repo, then in scripts/wall.mjs put your name in place of mine in OWNER, REPO and WRITE_URL. The images load from the master branch, so if yours is main, change RAW too.

Then commit and push. The Action runs on Node 22 and paints any issue whose title starts with wall:.

• →Old notes fading like paint left in the sun.
• →Enough notes and the wall turns into a pixel drawing.
• →The same wall as a guestbook for your own site.
